1.  REGISTRATION INFORMATION:   Registration for the 2011 season is completed. Eligibility criteria for swim and dive are: 6-18 years (as of 7/1/ 11), able to swim the length of the pool (25 meters) without assistance, resident of the hamlet they are joining, and have a valid 2011 pool lD card. Please fill out the forms (conveniently attached above.

2.  HOW DO I GET INFORMATION ON THE TEAM/SUITS/ETC:    The Meet and Greet for 2012...TBA.

3.  HOW ARE SCHEDULES MADE OUT:  Please note that schedules for practices, meets, gatherings, etc are developed during the winter months in order to have the program up and running by the time the summer season begins. Additionally, weather is always a factor in the final execution of practices and meets. Therefore, please remember to check the website frequently for the most current information (EACH PAGE HAS A NOTATION AS TO THE DATE LAST UPDATED). Weather-related changes will be posted in RED. 4.  WHAT VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED:    Thank you for the tremendous show of volunteer-ism during the 2011 season.  Remember every meet requires parents from each team to volunteer as:
  1. Diving scorer (1) 
  2. Swimming scorer (1)
  3. Timers (3)
  4. Ribbon writers (1 or 2)
  5. Runner (1 home meets only)
  6. Place card organizer (1 home meets only)
  7. Dive Announcer (1 home meets only)
5.  WHERE ARE DIRECTIONS TO OTHER POOLS FOR MEETS, ETC:  Directions to all the pools, along with a Google linked map and information regarding the summer swim teams can be found at the Northern Westchester Swim Conference Website: http://nwsc.usswim.net   Please utilize this site for directions, contact info for other pools, and info regarding rules and regulations.

7. WHERE DOES BVSDT GET FUNDING:  Once again, MANY thanks to the BEDFORD VILLAGE CHOWDER and MARCHING CLUB. Their generous donation allows us to provide the children with a memorable summer of swimming fun. Please support their fall dinner dance. 8. WHERE DO I SEND PICTURES THAT I WOULD LIKE ON THE WEBSITE:  If any parents have pics, please send them to rosalie.bastone@gmail.com 

9.  HOW DO I FIND OUT ABOUT WEATHER RELATED SCHEDULE CHANGES:   All weather-related changes will be posted on the web site next to the date and time in red. Additionally, an email will be sent out when possible.

11. HOW DO I KNOW WHEN SOMETHING NEW IS POSTED:  New information is posted in BLUE.

12.  DOES BVSDT HAVE TEAM PICTURES:  Yes, the picture will be taken the last week of June at a swim practice. The specific date will be announced. At this time the team is too small to get a professional photographer to take the pictures so a volunteer takes a team photo and a copy is given to each family as part of the end of season award ceremony.
